We are proud to announce the release of our brand-new Oudtshoorn Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
Oudtshoorn Airport (FAOH), is a civilian airport located 3km south of the town of Oudtshoorn with a single runway suitable for private jet flights.
Oudtshoorn is a town in the Western Cape province of South Africa, located between the Swartberg mountains to the north and the Outeniqua Mountains to the south. Dubbed the “ostrich capital of the world”, the town’s economy is primarily reliant on ostrich farming and it has the world’s largest ostrich population.
This is a completely new airport and for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 only! We have included an updated photoreal ground layer and we designed the airport to be as close to the real one as possible. All the hangars that are at the airport in real life have been added with their signage included. The main runway (04/22) has night lights as well as the two taxiways to and from the ramp. The main ramp has ample lighting so that you can find your way around at night.
Our plan forward is to design more of these small airports for your flying pleasure! If you have any suggestions on airports you would like to see for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, then please let us know!
For those who prefer purchasing via the Flight Simulator 2024 Marketplace, we expect this airport to be available in one week.
