We are proud to announce our first five airports for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024!
These five airports are as indicated below:
- FAWN Cape Winelands Airport
- FAKT Kitty Hawk Aero Estate
- FASH Stellenbosch Airport
- FASP Morningstar Airport
- FAWX Zebula Golf Estate and Spa
Unlike our compatible airports for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 these airports are true Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 airports. This means that they have all the features of the real thing! You will see small flowers on the ground, textures that blends seamlessly into the background, dirt marks and cracks on the taxiways and runways, just too many to name! These airports are also no longer compatible with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020.
If you should upgrade to these new versions is a question only you can answer. Our current Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 airports do work in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, but they do not have all the features that Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 offers. We expect Microsoft to start removing the compatibility with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 at some point in the future as it will become more and more difficult to support both platforms in the new simulator as they continue to add features to Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
If you have previously bought any of these airports for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, then you qualify for a discounted price on upgrading. Before upgrading, please log into your account on our website. Once logged in, go to the products section and select the Flight Simulator 2024 products from the menu. All the airports you have bought previously will show up as “on sale” with a discounted price. Those are the upgrade discounts you qualify for.
More airports for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 will follow and from here on, we will release them on a one by one as we complete them.
