We are proud to announce the release of King Shaka International Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
This is our first major airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and it took a bit longer to complete than we thought it would. We had to spend more time to get those large terminal buildings to work with the Level of Detail system that is now mandatory in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, but we did it!
Unlike the previous version of this airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, this airport is for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 only, which means that it has all those nice features available in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024! You will see small flowers on the ground, textures that blends seamlessly into the background, dirt marks and cracks on the taxiways and runways, just too many to name! Needless top day that this version of the airport is no longer compatible with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020.
If you should upgrade to the new version is a question only you can answer. Our current Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 airports do work in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, but they do not have all the features that Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 offers. To ease the transfer to Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, we are offering a R50 upgrade discount if you want to upgrade to the new version.
Before upgrading, please log into your account on our website. Once logged in, go to the products section and select the Flight Simulator 2024 products from the menu. All the airports you have bought previously will show up as “on sale” with a discounted price. Those are the upgrade discounts you qualify for.
