Cape Town International Airport (FACT) is the second largest airport in South Africa, after Johannesburg; the third largest in Africa and a major gateway for tourist traffic. Located approximately twenty kilometres (12 mi) from the Cape Town city centre, the airport was opened in 1954 to replace the Cape Town Municipal Airport in the suburb of Wingfield.
Cape Town International Airport is the only airport in the Cape Town Metropolitan area offering scheduled passenger services. The airport has direct flights from South Africa’s other two main urban areas, Johannesburg, and Durban, as well as flights to smaller centres in South Africa. Internationally, it has direct flights to several destinations in Africa, Asia, Europe and South America.

REQUIRED LIBRARIES
Our Scenery Library with common use objects are no longer distributed as part of this airport package. Please download and install it separately using the link below. This Library is needed for the correct working of the airport. Without it, you may not see the taxi lights, runway lights, apron lights, trees or vehicles parked at the airport. You only need to download and install this package once as all our airports uses it. Regular updates for these libraries may be required as our collection of airports grow.
