Lanseria Airport (FALA) was conceptualised during 1972 by two Pretoria pilots, Fanie Haacke and Abe Sher when they identified the ideal site for an airport.
Lanseria Airport has seen some many upgrades in the form of a longer and a wider runway, improved terminal, new and a new control tower since then; all of which has been added to this package.
Lanseria Airport is 32 km (19.8 miles) from the Johannesburg City Centre and 33 km (20.5 miles) from the Pretoria City Centre.

This Library is needed for the correct working of the airport. Without it, you may not see the taxi lights, runway lights, apron lights, trees or vehicles parked at the airport. You only need to download and install this package once as all our airports uses it. Regular updates for these libraries may be required as our collection of airports grow.
