Lanseria Airport (FALA) was conceptualised during 1972 by two Pretoria pilots, Fanie Haacke and Abe Sher when they identified the ideal site for an airport.
Lanseria Airport has seen some many upgrades in the form of a longer and a wider runway, improved terminal, new and a new control tower since then; all of which has been added to this package.
Lanseria Airport is situated almost in the middle between the two largest cities of the Gauteng Province. Lanseria Airport is 32 km (19.8 miles) from the Johannesburg City Centre and 33 km (20.5 miles) from the Pretoria City Centre.

Typically in NMG Style and very well researched and developed piece of scenery. Flying the ILS or RNAV approaches are to specification. Lighting features are supurb and taxiing at night made very easy. Authentic buildings, businesses and parking areas add to the correctness and great work done on this airport. Even the main and secondary roads to this airport are correct, although some potholes would have made it typically South African. Great job NMG!!!
