This patch will update the DEFAULT Johannesburg International Airport ID from FAJS to FAOR.
JOHANNESBURG INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
Please be aware that after the update, you will no longer be able to find Johannesburg International Airport using the Airport ID of FAJS. The new Airport ID of FAOR must be used.
Commercial AI Traffic packages still use the old Airport ID of FAJS will no longer have aircraft flying to Johannesburg due to the change in the Airport ID. Running this patch may therefore cause your AI Traffic package to abandon Johannesburg International Airport entirely and no longer fly there until the flight plans have been updated to use the new Airport ID of FAOR. The reason for that is that commercial AI Traffic packages uses the older Airport ID of FAJS to route flight to. You will need to contact the provider of your AI package for a solution if you find that your AI Traffic no longer displays.
The updated file will overwrite the default APX55410.BGL located under your Flight Simulator directory in SCENERY/0605/SCENERY with and updated version. The old file will be backed up to APX55410.BGL.NMG. To restore the default airport file, simply rename the APX55410.BGL.NMG file back to APX55410.BGL.
